Challenges
The misuse of chemical fertilisers and the low supply of organic matter are at the root of the drastic decline in soil fertility and the pollution of water resources and the environment. The degradation of these ecosystems, exacerbated by the high climate variability, affects the livelihoods of more than 7 million people in Burkina Faso with repercussions on their food security.
Solutions
In response to these challenges, REVITALIZ provides agricultural producers with natural fertilizers capable of the same agricultural performance as mineral fertilizers, at the same price, while restoring soil vitality. The innovator has developed an alternative method to industrial composting producing a 100% natural fertilizer from urban, agricultural, and agro-industrial organic waste using 10 times less water.
By mechanizing the production process of NGALEE fertilizers and being able to use any type of organic waste as raw material, REVITALIZ is able to produce thousands of tons of fertilizer in a short period while having 40-50% lower production costs than the competition.
