Soil-less agriculture offers an effective solution to this problem. The Côte d’Ivoire-based innovator El Kabod Group set up Duji hydroponics to help new smallholder farmers by providing a sustainable solution. El Kabod offers a soil-less potting mix made of coconut fiber enriched with trace elements. The mix is made from local, environmentally-friendly products and support two production cycles to save water and increase yields per hectare.
