Water and Energy for Food Releases the 2023 Annual Report

For Water and Energy for Food, 2023 was a successful year of implementation. The program welcomed new innovators in the Southern and Central Africa Regional Innovation Hub. Innovators surpassed key performance indicators resulting in billions of liters of water, billions of kilowatt-hours saved, and millions of tons of food produced.

Thanks to the work of the Regional Innovation Hubs, innovators improved their  base of the pyramid (BoP) expertise, resulting in more women and men end-users having access to technologies that improve climate resiliency and mitigation. Across the regions, innovators also continue to scale with increased investment and revenue.
