WE4F’s Country Profiles – A One-Stop Shop for Entrepreneurs, Investors, and Nexus Stakeholders

2020 has been an unprecedented year, with the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change affecting the financial and climate resilience of food systems around the world. In order to help businesses adjust to their new normal, the Middle East and North Africa and South and Southeast Asia Regional Innovation Hubs have developed a series of country profiles that explore current water, energy, and agriculture laws, policies, and government schemes. These profiles build on the investment landscape reports that were released by WE4F in 2019 and 2020.

By taking the many different pieces of the national puzzle and combining it into a one-stop shop, entrepreneurs, investors, and other relevant actors can better understand what will affect them if they look to expand into each country.

  • Entrepreneurs and businesses can make use of the section on current priorities and resources for innovators.
  • Investors can improve their understanding of the local country context by exploring the factors influencing the adoption of water-energy-food nexus innovations.
